This open source, digitizing software converts an image file showing a graph or map, into numbers. The image file can come from a scanner, digital camera or screenshot. The numbers can be read on the screen, and written or copied to a spreadsheet.

The process starts with an image file containing a graph or map. The final result is digitized data that can be used by other tools such as Microsoft Excel and Gnumeric.

SEG-2, SEG-X to SEG-Y conversion software_"ixseg2segY"

IXSeg2Segy is a 32-bit Windows program designed to read SEG-1, SEG-2, SEG-Y, ASCII, CSV and other instrument manufacturer’s multi-channel seismic data formats and output the data as SEG-2, SEG-Y or ASCII files.
It also functions as a SEG-1 viewer, SEG-2 viewer and SEG-Y viewer.
IXSeg2Segy allows the user to process the data using integration, differentiation, DC level and linear trend removal, as well as both band-pass and F-K velocity filtering.
IXSeg2Segy allows the user to pick first breaks manually by positioning the mouse cursor at the break point on the trace and clicking the left mouse button. Automatic break picks can be made using four different methods.
Breaks can be automatically interpreted in terms of a flat 2-layer earth.
Normal Move-Out (NMO) curves can be superimposed on a shot to check the velocity and depth of an apparent reflector.
IXSeg2Segy allows the user to convert groups of files to SEG-2 or SEG-Y format and to export the first break picks to an ASCII file. Unregistered versions do not support these two features.
A SEG-Y file containing multiple records can be split into single record files. Multiple files with identical length records can be combined into a single SEG-Y file with multiple records or they can be merged to create a different set of files as described below.
Trace data can be viewed, printed, or exported as SEG-2, SEG-Y or ASCII formats.

MS OFFICE 2010 BLUE EDITION

Microsoft intends to release Microsoft Office 2010 Technical Preview to invited guests who register to sign up for Office 2010 CTP Program only by July 2009. Office 2010 was previously known by codename Office 14 (taken cue from its version), and wrongly assume to be Office 2009. The setup installer of both 32bit (x86) and 64bit (x64) Office2010 Technical Preview 1 (TP 1) has been leaked to BT network. The leaked Office 2010 Technical Preview 1 has the version of 14.0.4006.1010, a pre-trial version provided to premium Microsoft partners.

The setup installer of the leaked download will install Microsoft Office Plus 2010 edition, with Access 2010, Excel 2010, InfoPath 2010, OneNote 2010, Outlook 2010, PowerPoint 2010, Publisher 2010, and Word 2010. Project Professional 2010, SharePoint Designer 2010 and Visio Professional 2010 are also included in the leaked RAR archive download.Office 2010 supports Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.

Important note is that Office2010 TP 1 is still in early stage of development, and may contain bugs, although most individual programs such as Word 2010 and Excel 2010 are usable in everyday life. It?s also interesting to know that Office 2007, the predecessor of Office 2010, is version 12. Office 2010 will be version 14, skipping version 13, the number that Microsoft assumes may be not so lucky.
